Martin Frick is the cooperative manager of the policy and the program of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC) and has contributed to the establishment of the Paris Agreement and the environmental movements. During the German EU presidency in 2007, Martin Frick, a German diplomat, was recognized as a key negotiator who successfully solved conflicts of interests among countries. He dealt with important factors of the UN Human Rights Council including the universal periodic review. From 2007 to 2010, he served as a vice chairman of the Global Humanitarian Forum, the Swiss Geneva Foundation. He used to be a German representative of United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), as well as a leader of the ‘E3G Climate Diplomacy’ for low carbon economy starting from 2010 to 2012.
